Title: Halo: Reach Beta Launches May 3

Microsoft have announced that the multiplayer trial of what is quite possibly Bungie’s last entry in the Halo series, Halo: Reach, will begin on May 3.
The announcement was made during Microsoft’s X10 event by Xbox Live director of programming Larry “Major Nelson” Hyrb. The multiplayer beta will be accessible from the Halo 3: ODST retail disc, much as the Halo 3 beta was available via the Crackdown disc.
Halo: Reach was first announced at last year’s E3, and will allow players to participate in the Battle of Reach, as well as showing some of the origins of the Spartan program. The full game is expected to launch on the Xbox 360 on September 26, 2010.
