Title: New Zelda Title Pegged For 2010?

Speaking to Japanese newspaper Asahi Shimbun [thanks Kotaku], Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has dropped a few nuggets of news about the Wii and the DS.
First up, he dismissed the idea of giving the DS cellular phone like functions with the ability to connect to the internet, and said that these features were not planned for future iterations of the hardware. And speaking of future DS models, Iwata offered, “[It will have] highly detailed graphics, and it will be necessary to have a sensor with the ability to read the movements of people playing.”
The newspaper also revealed that there will be a press conference in July about the Wii Vitality Sensor, and the device is expected to go on sale soon after that.
Probably of the most interest to gamers, however, was the news that the next Legend of Zelda title will ship for the Wii, a platform which currently lacks an official title in the franchise, before the end of 2010. There was, however, no note as to whether this date referred to Japan only or a worldwide market. The game was first announced at E3 2009, and it would seem that this year’s E3 would be the most likely place for a more definite release window to be announced.

Well that's nice. I must admit that I'm looking forward to seeing if it's good.

I heared it was a sequel to Twilight princess, and I'm looking forward to it. I already know a good zelda game continuing from the one before it. *cough* Majoras Mask *cough*
