Title: First Dragon Age Expansion Announced

With the upcoming DLC for Dragon Age: Origins, Return To Ostagar, being put on hold, BioWare have announced the first official full price expansion for their dark fantasy RPG, to be titled Awakening.
Players will be able to import their character from the main DA:O campaign, or create a new character from scratch to play the expansion, which will take place in the new land of Amaranthine.
The level cap (currently set at 25) will be raised, and there will be new customization options for players, including “additional spells, abilities, specializations, and items to further personalize and customize your hero and party.” In addition, there will be five new party members to recruit and adventure with.
Awakening will be available for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 from the 16th of March. It will be available in both boxed retail and digital form, and will cost $40, according to GameStop pre-order listings.
